It was wonderful to receive my author's copies of The Starlight Graded English Readers series, published by Lightstone and illustrated by the very talented Shireen Syed. This, the first level of the series, is for students at the Playgroup Level. Starlight builds on a child's natural curiosity and sense of fun while simultaneously giving them the tools to become independent and confident readers.
